E-mail Print PDF

The Tuna Advisory Board (TAB) provides formal advice and makes recommendations to Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) on operational decisions related to tuna harvest in the Pacific Region. The TAB includes balanced representation from the commercial sectors, including the coastal fleet and high seas fleet; and other interested parties (i.e. First Nations, recreational). Advisors sit for a two or four year period. The Department would like to thank those industry advisors who served on the TAB from 2006 to 2008.
